Whether you exercise before your shower, walk around your building on lunch or jump on the treadmill while dinner is in the oven it all means you are doing something best for you. Starting to feel better, without feeling like it&#8217;s a daunting task, will help you keep it going.</p>
<p>It doesn&#8217;t have to be traditional exercise either. Be like the kids and play for an hour in the yard with them or take the dog for a walk. Whatever is best for you! Good luck!</p>

<p>Billy Banks first introduced his Tae Bo exercise regiment back in 1990, and 20 years later it is still considered one of the top workout routines, continuing to help millions get in shape every day. Tae Bo is a mix of martial arts kicks and boxing punches done with an aerobic tempo for ultimate calorie burning and muscle toning. Today not only is the Tae Bo basic workout still available, but Billy has added a wide variety of different workouts to his list of accomplishments.</p>
<p>Basic Tae Bo is made up of two DVD’s, the first being about 40 minutes long and consisting of instructions on how each movement is performs. The movements are slowed down to allow the user to follow along until they have the routine and movements mastered. The instructions are easy to understand and the movements become easier to perform with practice.</p>
<p>Once you have mastered the movements, you move to the second DVD for a 27-minute workout consisting of a five-minute warm-up, Tae Bo for eighteen minutes, and a cool-down period lasting four minutes. This routine will get your heart rate going and you will break quite a sweat, giving you a great workout and fast results.</p>

It&#8217;s necessary to protect you from injury and harm, to recover from workouts, and to build muscle. Aim for a half gallon to a gallon of water a day, depending on how much you work out.</p>
<p>2) Next, don&#8217;t miss out on carbs. Low-carb diet crazes may be all the rage, but don&#8217;t buy into them if you&#8217;re serious about fitness. You need energy to complete your workouts and go through your day, and you won&#8217;t succeed by starving your body of carbs, the main energy nutrient.</p>

<p>Tai Chi originated in China centuries ago and was kept secret when it was first discovered and practiced. Those who were taught Tai Chi were usually the students of masters who practiced and taught this special art. There are two theories of how Tai Chi began. One theory is that it was discovered and developed by a man named Chang San-Feng who lived about six hundred years ago. The second theory is that Chen Wang-Ting developed it and incorporated it into the Chen Tai Chi family.</p>
<p>It was traditional to keep Tai Chi a secret and was only taught to students who wished to learn it. Tai Chi broadened its horizons when a certain student from the Chen family named Yang Lu-San started teaching Tai Chi to normal Chinese families and which broadened further to the entire world. Due to Yang&#8217;s willingness to instruct Tai Chi to anyone who wished to learn it, the Yang form of Tai Chi is the most prevalently practiced today. Modern-day Tai Chi was developed further by Yang Lu-San&#8217;s grandson, <a href="http://totalfitnesshq.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/Tai_Chi.jpg"><img class="alignleft size-medium wp-image-68" title="Tai_Chi" src="http://totalfitnesshq.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/Tai_Chi-256x300.jpg" alt="" width="256" height="300" /></a>Yang Cheng-fu. Yang Cheng-fu lived during the turn of the century.</p>
<p>The name Tai Chi has two different meanings for each of its words. &#8220;Tai&#8221; stands for &#8220;big&#8221; in Chinese. While &#8220;Chi&#8221; stands for &#8220;ultimate energy&#8221;. Because of its meaning, Tai Chi basically means that energy can be produced by movement. Tai Chi uses an ancient form of movement and body coordination to focus on the production of internal energy. Tai Chi aims to harmonize the body, mind, and spirit thus creating well-being for the person who practices it. Those who have practiced Tai Chi may find that they are more relaxed, tolerant, and healthier than before.</p>
